1. Re-write The Stentor constitution with new position descriptions

2. Go to all of the boys baseball games that I am home for

3. SNAP program planning

4. I wanted to choose a city I wanted to go to, figure out the distance in miles from Ohio and run that many miles over the course of May 1-August 31!  My choice is Longwood Gardens which is located in Pennsylvania.

5. LSAT, GRE and GMAT practice tests and online classes completed


7. Get iCloud connected to my laptop and Ipad

8. Study the AMTA rules of evidence for mock trial


10. Apply for a grant to get a new camera for Stentor

11. Work on collaborations for Collage events

12. Work on getting music attached to the online Collage

10 examples of “stolen time” and how to use it

Stolen time is time that you do not realize you are wasting and can actually be working. At the beginning of each day while you are drinking your morning coffee make a list of small things that need to be done, phone calls to make, emails to send etc. That way when you find a few minutes in your day you are able to get right to work instead of thinking about what you need to do.

1. While you are working out on an elliptical,study flashcards or listen to a book on tape.

2. Make a to-do list while you eat. Don’t just sit there. That way you can still be engaged in the conversation but being productive at the same time.

3. If you are waiting for someone somewhere and they are running late don’t just sit there, get something done. One of the reasons iPads and Smartphones were invented.

4. Studying while watching TV isn’t ideal. But if there is a show that you must watch make flashcards or something else that doesn’t take your full attention while you watch.

5. If you are 5 minutes early to a class or meeting don’t sit there and waste time. Catch up on emails or go over a set of flash cards. That way you are being productive but can still talk to people while you do it

6. Make phone calls while you are walking. I just don’t recommend sending texts or emails especially if you are on a stair case. Trust me from experience…

7. If you can’t sleep at night get up for a half hour and work then try again. Theres no point in just laying there.

8. Waiting in line is a huge waste of time. Be sure that you are doing something productive such as emailing if you have a smart phone or going over flashcards.

9. During commercials when you’re watching TV make goals. For example say “I will switch my laundry during the next commercial”.

10. Always have a Plan B. If something gets let out early make sure you know what you’re going to do. Find a place to sit down and get to work.

1. I am terrified of the ocean and don’t like beaches.

2. At some point I want to work for the marketing department of American Express.

3. When I was a senior in high school I got 3rd place in the Financial Literacy Promotional Project section in DECA at Nationals.

4. I’ve never seen Titanic all the way through. Revert back to reason 1.

5.When I was 16 I fell out of a raft while white water rafting, got stuck in a rock and almost drowned. ( I still have the scar on my leg)

6. My favorite day of the year is the morning of our big holiday open house.

10 things to do when you’re stressed

1. Take a warm bath or shower, you don’t have to answer your phone while you’re in the shower!

2. Watch a movie or show that’ll make you laugh or read a book.

3. Workout, its such a better idea then stress eating.

4. Make a todo list with everything that you need to do. It may seem like it’ll stress you out more at first but at least you’ll have it all in one place. Or write about what’s stressing you.

5. Listen to a relaxing podcast.

6. Take a walk.

7. Take a nap, a 10 minute nap will re energize you. Any longer will make you feel tired.

8. Breathe

9. Play a game

10.  Set small goals and break tasks into smaller manageable chunks

Ryan and I asked Scout, whats the recipe to be like Scout. This is what he told us…

2 eggs
3 cups of sugar
1 smashed baseball
Throw in a pound of attitude
4 ounces of apple juice
1 bunny hug
Throw in one B flat (on the piano)
Half of a pizza (make it pepperoni)
One gigantic football
and mix it all together, fry it up and you get a scout.
